Behind the building there are some spots available. But it is limited and tight.
To my knowledge there is one entrance off Edmonton trail and it has a few steps up into the restaurant
2-5:30PM every weekday Blowers & Grafton has half priced house wine, highballs, and house draft as well as their signature B&G Lager Bottles.
Yes in store and online purchase available.
Yes I took my 2 year old with me and they were very accommodating.
Came in at around 11 am on sunday. Place was empty except myself. Waitress was friendly. Decor was good and modern with photos of various landmarks and boats from Halifax. The place is actually named after an intersection there. Had the mini lobster rolls. Came on toasted and buttered bread with coleslaw. The portion size was small for my liking but not going to deduct stars for that. The store made potato chips were very crunchy and good as well.
The large donair is anything but large. The taste is great. The donair poutine was mediocre at best. Fries had a strange taste.
Excellent food. Small on space but great offerings, well prepared and presented dishes. Best donairs outside Halifax. Pizza passed the taste test too.Well worth a visit.
For 20 years I have told people I wish I could taste as great a donair as I had when I lived in Bedford NS. I never thought I would get that experience again. I can't believe I have found this place in Calgary. It tastes exactly as I remember it. I am so excited!!!
Attended on Saturday for an east coast kitchen party after having been several times before. The music and entertainment was great, good East Coast beer selection and have really enjoyed all the authentic Halifax food we've tried so far
Service was incredible! Fast, friendly and personableFish and chips was the best I’ve ever eaten with the exception of a place in Scotland where they filleted the fish in front of me, but as far as Edmontonian fish and chip shops go this is by far the best!! Tar tar sauce made in house!!! So good!Would recommend 12 times out of 10And their selection of beer on tap as well as bottled and tall boys is impressive, with knowledgeable and friendly bar staff!
Really enjoyed our meal. I would say maybe order take out at peak times as the space is very small. Besides that everything was unreal, best Caesar in Calgary.
Authentic Halifax! Absolutely delicious food. Don't be confused "Street food" includes a bucket of mussels inside a modern restaurant with a lovely view of Renfrew. Please get Garrison on tap, or bring in some local breweries!
ate there twice recently and have been very pleased with the service, food and atmosphere. Happy Hour is from two to five on Mondays to Fridays where you get some drinks for half price. I order the draft beer that is cheaper than coffee at the local diner! The fish and chips are excellent.
Great place to get your east coast fix! Donairs, pizza, and Nova Scotia beer - Nine Locks and Garrison were available when I was there last. Worth checking out
Food was great. Person that answered the phone to take my order was quick, sharp, and not very friendly.
Nice little spot right across from dinner deluxe. Sea food was pretty good, staff was friendly.
Delicious food and authentic east coast style donair. Lobster rolls are the truth!
Amazing atmosphere, and really good food! Staff is super friendly, and all the pictures on the wall remind me of home. We tried the garlic fingers, lobster rolls, deep fried pepperoni and the donair. Everything was amazing except for the donair, I just wish the pita wasn’t as soggy, maybe it was just the one time. I’ll definitely be going back.
Really great little spot! Seating is tight but it has an atmosphere of trendy-ness that’s fun to be a part of.Menu includes some inventive options that add a little excitement and make the dining experience a memorable one. Definitely worth checking out.
Stopped in with a few friends for dinner. Food came out hot and fresh. I had the donair which was very tasty but a little messy.
Amazing Food and Atmosphere; some of Best Service we've ever had. Thank You!!! ;D
Nice little place. Service was good. Very nice happy hour too. A taste of Halifax in the west.
Awesome spot - I’ve been walking by it for a long time and finally stopped by. Great location for small parties looking for a fun Canadian food flair. You need to hit up happy hour and end it with some mini donuts. If you’re a foodie and love Great Big Sea, you’ll love this place (napkin game is strong).
The fish and chips (fries) were delicious. The tarter sauce was kicked up a notch and I loved the coleslaw which doesn't happen often. I had a bite of an OG donair and OMFG. I don't even like donairs and I already want to go back for one to myself. It probably helps that the server shares my name but spelled differently since Lindsay's are awesome. The place is small which adds to the charm and seating was not an issue while we were there.
A big call out to Josh. I had an issue and reached out. He showed me that he cares about his customers. A dumb thing could have easily led to a broken relationship without Josh stepping in to make it right. I will be back for the outstanding donairs regularly and thanks again for understanding Josh.
Exquisite food, friendly service. Don’t pass this one up. Get the OG donair and the fish and chips. The tartar sauce is beautiful.
Fantastic little place! I recommend getting reservations if you have a larger party, as space is limited and this place is busy! Food is great. Atmosphere is great. Staff is great. Looking forward to going back :)
Really good Donair; very flavourful. The only negative is that it was smaller than I had expected. Comparable to other places regular size. The fish and chips are pretty good too. Best tasting in Calgary I've found so far, but might not mean much as I haven't had a lot of fish and chips. The doughnut dessert is also pretty good, but also small. Reminds me of a timbit but way better. Overall I enjoyed it.
A good time. Good food. Fridays and Saturdays good music. Goodness all around. You won't be disappointed.
This place I amazing. There food I really good but I always go for there for a cocktail and the best blueberry donuts I have ever had. A word of warning the restaurant is a little small so try and gi early to get a seat as it does fill up quick.
This bar is a unique bar with great food, drinks and really good company. It is very East coast oriented, so if you love your East coast living, you gotta love this, without a doubt. There's is parking at the back for those who are interested and because this place comes very highly recommended, seating can be hard sometimes, so make sure you call in to reserve a table ahead, as much as possible. I'll give a special shout out to a waitress by name Kyla, who does a good job at making guest feel welcomed, making sure the drinks are flowing and is funny by nature. 😅😄#Tipyourwaitress
Read a few positive reviews on Instagram and other SM platforms so had high expectations but the place was a disappointment. Service was lacking and the fish and chips was oily
Just had my first experience at Blowers & Grafton and my girlfriend and I were blown away at how delicious it was. Truly authentic east coast taste felt like I was back home !
Doordash - just ordered a large Donair and it's definitely a unique taste to it. Large isn't like oversized or anything but all in all its not bad.
What a great place to get together, awesome food and great music
This is a run of the mill restaurant. Dramatically overpriced. 20+$ for "lobster rolls" and chips which consisted of about 1 table spoon of lobster mix per roll and the rest being bread and potato chips. The chowder was really bland and watery. Soup would be a better word for it. It's not bad food, but nothing stands out as worthwhile. Would go again if someone else paid
The garlic fingers made me feel at home
Great pub food with a focus of food from the east coast. Highly recommend the OG Caesar, Donair and Fish and Chips. The Donair might be the best I've had in YYC.
Some of the best fish & chips I've ever had. The fish is fried to perfection, with just the right amount of coating, plus it tastes really fresh. The fries aren't incredible, but they're still more than good enough. Pair this with a pop and you have yourself an amazing lunch.
Being from Halifax I am always looking for the flavours I grew up with and I am usually having difficulty finding them here in Alberta. This place though... Ugh. It's like I am transported back to pizza corner, or anywhere in Halifax for that matter. The donairs, the garlic fingers, the clams and chips and fish and chips, mussels, pizza, you name it. You can find these items anywhere but they will not taste like the authentic Maritimes like this place does it. My new favourite place.
Great food however I always order through Skipthedishes. Even though the restaurant is often showing as being open, I am unable to place an order. Would love to give you some more business!
Delicious food and amazing service!!!! Very friendly and inviting atmosphere. A real east coast feel!!!!
Great use of simple selections of ingredients, solid fundamental cooking techniques. Fully lives up to what you expect when you see the menu, they choose what they do and do it well.
Awesome spot. Really great donair, the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is relaxed and they have some cool cocktail options available.
One of the best Cesars I've had... EVER! Great food too.
The food here is amazing!! We ordered in for my husbands 50th birthday tonight and were very pleasantly surprised!! My husband spent his summers in the maritimes and this meal took him back there!! Thank you so much.
It had an amazing vibe and the food was great. The toppings on the pizza were generous and tasty and the gluten free base was good! Excited to go back to try new items!
Only true east coast donair in town. Also, their other east coast favourites are delicious. Responsible take out measures during covid restriction.
As an east coaster living in Calgary, I can attest to their delicious food. The fact that they have such a robust gluten free menu too. Love this place.
I just tried for the first time this evening. this pizza was excellent. The only pizza Ill order from now on. they used real fresh mushrooms and green pepper . I also tried the blue berry and caramel treat delicious .
Came here to see how food compares to real Halifax Street food. The scallop and chips were pretty good and lobster rolls were alright as well its not as good as back home back not bad either.
I was told this place serves the famous east coast donairs, and, while I've never had donairs from the east coast, I must say they definitely did not disappoint in terms of quality of food. I usually find donair sauce too sweet and the meat too salty, but this place has the flavour and the seasoning of both of them nailed down perfectly. The chips I ordered as a side were quite amazing as well. It is a small restaurant and I'm not sure how busy it gets during dinner time, but I would definitely recommend checking out this place for lunch or dinner.
Tasty food in a bustling smallish space. Fun for the family
Great people, awesome food, wine... what else do we need?
